Robyn Barron: Flowers

In my 20’s I was a model who fell in love and married a handsome and highly creative photographer. I worked as his stylist and producer and gained invaluable insight into the world of still life capture. Fast forward 45 years to today: I am a Garden Consultant and Botanical Photographer and love how my professional and creative lives intertwine. I live in a small coastal town in Australia, just south of Byron Bay.

I use a strong emotional connection to my chosen subjects, Leaves and Flowers, in the hope of helping people to see the beauty that exists in every stage of life especially the crinkles and imperfections of age.
I draw enormous inspiration from the art of Karl Blossfeldt and Charles Jones, and the botanical images of Irving Penn.
