Valari

VALARI is a design studio founded by architects Domenico Sasso, Federica Russo and Nicolò Lewanski that focuses on architecture, renovation of existing buildings and design, exploring the Italian region of Puglia through international know-how and Italian craftsmanship. Studio Valari has recently completed the project of requalification of Masseria Belvedere, a 17th century masseria in Contrada Belvedere, in Carovigno in the Itria Valley. Set in one and a half hectares of land, which includes a centuries-old olive grove, the masseria has an L-shaped structure, entirely in stone and vaulted in all its rooms, and a wide view of the Adriatic coast. The selection of materials emphasises the strong link with the territory and the research conducted with local companies aimed at discovering and reusing, in a contemporary way, materials and Apulian labour.
